Low-Maintenance, Long-Term Water Quality

A homeowner in Temecula, CA wanted to improve the quality of water throughout their home with a reliable, low-maintenance filtration solution. Concerns about water quality, scale buildup, and protecting plumbing fixtures led them to seek a whole-home filtration system that would provide long-lasting performance without the hassle of frequent maintenance.

Why the Homeowner Wanted Water Filtration

Many homeowners are looking for ways to improve the quality of the water entering their homes. Whole-home water filtration systems can help reduce sediment, chlorine, and other contaminants while providing cleaner water to every faucet, shower, appliance, and plumbing fixture throughout the home.

The homeowner wanted a solution that would be effective, dependable, and easy to maintain while providing benefits for both their plumbing system and daily water usage.

Halo Water Filter Installation

After discussing the homeowner's goals, we recommended a Halo whole-home water filtration system. The Halo system was installed on the home's main water supply, allowing all incoming water to be filtered before reaching the plumbing system.

Our team completed the installation by properly integrating the system into the home's plumbing, testing all connections, and verifying proper operation. Care was taken to ensure a clean, professional installation that would provide dependable performance for years to come.

Low-Maintenance, Long-Term Water Quality

One of the biggest advantages of the Halo filtration system is its simplicity and long service life. Unlike some treatment systems that require electrical connections, regular salt additions, or frequent maintenance, the Halo system operates without external power and is designed for long-term reliability.

With an expected service interval of approximately 10 years, the homeowner can enjoy the benefits of whole-home water filtration without the constant maintenance associated with many traditional water treatment systems.

Results

The homeowner now enjoys filtered water throughout the entire home, helping protect plumbing fixtures, water-using appliances, and household piping while improving overall water quality. The new Halo system provides a convenient, low-maintenance solution that delivers long-term value and peace of mind.

With cleaner water available at every fixture and a system designed for years of reliable operation, this installation provides an effective whole-home water treatment solution that the homeowner can depend on well into the future.

When a homeowner in Menifee contacted Rodgers Air Conditioning & Plumbing about a slab leak, the original plan seemed straightforward. We would reroute the leaking hot water line and eliminate the leak without breaking through the concrete foundation. However, after evaluating the plumbing system, it became clear that simply repairing one pipe wasn't necessarily the best long-term solution. The leaking pipe happened to be one of the longest hot water runs beneath the home. While we could certainly reroute that single line, we discussed the possibility that additional aging pipes beneath the slab could eventually develop leaks of their own. After reviewing the options, the homeowner decided to invest in a partial PEX-A repipe that replaced the entire downstairs plumbing system, helping eliminate the risk of future slab leaks on the lower level.
